Tips

This is the Tips section. Here you should sind some helpful hints regarding creating your Resume and Portfolio. It should help you improve your CV and is definatly worth a read before creating your documents, just to make sure you make any little 'Faux Pars'!

1) If applying for an overseas job, please remember to include your international dialing code

2) The Skills Summary section of your CV includes your main skills. You should only include keywords in this section, do not go into lengthy descriptions of your skills

3) Be careful when you use abbreviations - they can be misunderstood

4) If your name has a number of characters in it, making it lengthy, try to shorten it for the client to be able to remember your name easily when referring back to it, especially when they may be going through hundreds of CV’s per week.

5) To make your CV stand out from others, including interests facts, experiences or achievements especially if they are related to the industry your are applying for.

6) Don't mention things that you are bad at or say negative things about yourself in your CV

7) Put your employment and educational history in date order, starting with the most recent first.

8) Always check for errors. Run a spelling and grammar check and ask someone else to read it for you.

9) Reason for leaving previous employment will be covered in the interview.

10) If uploading a photo, ensure that it is a passport size and clear lighting.

11) Focus on what you have to offer the employer rather than listing what you have done

Wait for a couple of minutes and if you have still not received an email go to the Contact Section at the bottom of this page and inform Media Moguls team, we will contact you as soon as possible.

Yes this will be possible go to Edit Account once you have logged on.

5) How can I download CV's as a PDF?

Your can do this by going to the download PDF button in the Profile's Section.

6) Can I search for a particular category when I am looking for a person?

The Profile Section has a search engine that will filter through profiles, specific fields can be chosen from the drop down menu for faster result.

7) Can I search for a particular category when I am looking for a job?

The Job Section has a search engine that will filter through different types of job posts by clients, specific fields can be chosen from the drop down menu for fan precise result.

8) I am looking for tips on improving my skills in a particular area can you help?

Once logged on you can create a forum that is posted and can ask other user to contribute or you can see if a forum has already been created by another user, this allows members in the same field of work to help one another.
